Disneyland Paris Gives Update on Orbitron Refurbishment Work

Disneyland Paris Resort has given an update on the refurbishment happening to the Orbitron.

What’s Happening:

  • The Orbitron, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings of the solar system, has been under refurbishment since January as the park continues to be closed due to the current situation in Europe.
  • Disneyland Paris Resort gave an update on the refurbishment work being done to the attraction and what Guests can expect when it reopens.

  • Disneyland Paris’ Facilities Asset Management and Central Shops teams have been working together in renovating the floors, repainting the attraction, overhauling the audio system, and refreshing the queue.
  • Refurbishment work is also being done to the landscaping around the area including the shrubs, rocks, and craters.
  • To do some of the detailed work, pieces of the attraction were dismantled and taken to Central Workshops.

If you’d like to take a virtual ride on the attraction, check out the video below. We can’t wait to see its refurbished look when it opens up later.
