Inside the Jim Henson Archives To Be Part of Tomorrow’s FerryCon 2021

The Jim Henson Company tweeted earlier today that they would be part of FerryCon 2021 with an Inside the Jim Henson Archives presentation tomorrow.

What’s Happening:

  • Tomorrow, Saturday 4/24, FerryCon 2021 will play host to Inside the Jim Henson Archives at 1:00 PM EDT.
  • Jim Henson Archives Director Karen Falk and Jim Henson Legacy President Craig Shemin will be discussing the Henson Archives and Shemin’s upcoming book about the legendary Sam & Friends.
  • FerryCon 2021 is hosted by the Dobbs Ferry Public Library in New York, but not to worry if you’re not nearby! The con is running April 24th 10am – 6pm EST via Zoom, and all you have to do is Email [email protected] to get the FerryCon 2021 Zoom link.
  • When you arrive you will be in the Waiting Room. Once you have been let in, you will be able to choose between the “Artist Alley” or “Programs” breakout rooms on Zoom. The Jim Henson Archives presentation will be found in the Programs section.
  • This panel takes place just days after the news broke that a new biopic focusing on Jim Henson is in the works from Disney and The Jim Henson Company. Titled Magic Man, Henson’s daughter Lisa Henson will be producing the film with Mitnick rewriting a previous version of the script that was done by Aaron and Jordan Kandell.
