Disney Concerts has announced Disney Princess – The Concert, a touring show where Broadway performers sing classic Disney Princess songs.
What’s Happening:
- During the Ultimate Disney Princess Celebration, fans can attend Disney Concerts where Broadway stars perform classic Disney Princess songs.
- Disney Princess – The Concert kicks off its tour this November with dates scheduled through April 2022 across the United States.
- Each performance will include 4 princesses from a list of possibilities that include:
- Susan Egan – The original Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and voice of Megara in Hercules.
- Courtney Reed – The original Jasmine in Aladdin on Broadway.
- Aisha Jackson – The first Black actress to play Anna in Frozen on Broadway.
- Syndee Winters – Her Broadway debut was as Nala in The Lion King.
- Christy Altomare – The original Anastasia in the Broadway musical based on the 20th Century Studios animated film.
- Laura Osnes – The lead role in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway.
- Joining the princess performers are music director Benjamin Rahaula and actor Adam J Levy, who will play the prince.
- Fans can also upgrade their experience with VIP packages that include seating in the first 5 rows, a meet and greet and photo opportunity, and swag.
- Tickets go on sale Friday, May 7th through Ticketmaster and D23 members can take advantage of a presale on select dates.
