Google is getting in on the Star Wars Day fun by throwing confetti around your desktop when you search for “Star Wars.”

  • May the 4th be with you this Star Wars Day.
  • As part of the festivities, Google users who search for “Star Wars” are in for a fun surprise.
  • The search triggers a magic moment where confetti falls down your desktop screen, containing a mix of colors, objects, characters, and the Star Wars Day logo.
  • Characters included in the confetti include Grogu (aka Baby Yoda), Wicket the Ewok, C-3PO, R2-D2, and stormtrooper helmets.
  • There are also two types of lightsabers in the confetti, the signature light side blue and dark side red.
  • The effect can also be triggered with other words from a galaxy far, far away including “Lightsaber.”
