Disneyland has made operational changes to The Disneyland Railroad, now only letting Guests board at the Toontown Station.
What’s Happening:
- Since Disneyland Park reopened, one of the longest attraction wait times has been for The Disneyland Railroad, which ends it’s operating day early and has reduced capacity due to social distancing.
- Disneyland has now modified their boarding procedures, only allowing Guests to board the trains at the Toontown Station. Previously, Guests were allowed to join the queue at any of the train stations in the park.
- In addition, the train is cleared of all Guests at the Toontown station, meaning you can only make one full circle trip before having to exit and get back in line to ride again.
- Guests are still allowed to exit the train at all other train stations, but can only board at Toontown.
- This new procedure makes it easier for Disneyland to better estimate the wait time for The Disneyland Railroad and ensures that a new group of Guests get to board each time a train completes its 20-minute journey around the park.
