And what better way to wile away the hottest season than with Columbia Sportswear’s newly unveiled “Outer Rim Collection” summer line of Star Wars clothing in men’s, women’s and youth sizes?
The Outer Rim collection combines elements of iconic Star Wars imagery (like the Millennium Falcon, X-wing Starfighters, TIE Fighters, Darth Vader, and Stormtrooper helmets hidden among leafy palm fronds and other types of plants) with the comfort and performance that Columbia’s PFG– AKA Performance Fishing Gear– apparel collections are known for. As the company states on its website, these items are “ready for wherever your outdoor journey takes you.”
First up in the Outer Rim Collection is the Men’s Super Tamiami Short Sleeve Shirt Star Wars Edition, which features Omni-Shade UPF 40 sun protection, Omni-Wick quick dry, and even a rod holder for fishing trips!
The Women’s Super Tamiami Sleeveless Shirt also features the Omni-Shade UPF sun protection, but also boasts Omni-Wick Antimicrobial treatment to prevent bacterial growth, plus a vent and rod holder for fishing.
Like the men’s shirt above, the Youth Super Tamiami Short Sleeve Shirt Star Wars Edition features Omni-Shade UPF 40 sun protection, Omni-Wick quick dry, and a rod holder for fishing, too.
