“SportsCenter” Anchor Stan Verrett Signs Multi-Year Deal With ESPN

ESPN has announced that SportsCenter anchor Stan Verrett has signed a new multi-year deal with the network.

What’s Happening:

  • Stan Verrett has signed a new multi-year deal with ESPN since joining in 2000, keeping the anchor at the network with scheduled appearances from Los Angeles on the 11:00 pm and 1:00 am ET SportsCenter editions.
  • Verrett started anchoring the new edition of SportsCenter from Los Angeles twelve years ago after relocating from ESPN’s main campus in Bristol, Connecticut.
  • Although living in the Los Angeles area, Verrett remains a loyal fan of his hometown New Orleans Saints, returning to New Orleans to attend games frequently.
