As previously announced, Inside the Walt Disney Archives is coming to the Graceland Exhibition Center this summer. Before opening to the public, D23 will host a Grand Opening Preview exclusively for D23 Members. Tickets will go on sale next week.

What’s Happening:
- D23 has announced that Gold and General Members are invited to be among the first guests to visit the Inside the Walt Disney Archives exhibit as it comes to Graceland in Memphis, TN.
- The Grand Opening Preview of Inside the Walt Disney Archives at the legendary Graceland Exhibition Center will take place on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
- Prices are as follows:
- Gold Member – $99 per person (plus $7 processing fee)
- General Member -$125 per person (plus $7 processing fee)
- Tickets will go on sale to D23 Members on Monday, June 21 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET.
About the Exhibit:
- Step into the Walt Disney Archives and observe more than 450 objects, including original artwork, costumes, and props that tell the story of the Archives, The Walt Disney Company, and Walt Disney himself.
- Disney fans will have the chance to view nostalgic classics and modern pieces including:
- Never-before-displayed sketches for Fantasia
- Never-before-displayed sketches of the ghosts from the Haunted Mansion
- A maquette from Frozen
- A Wolverine costume
- And More
D23 Grand Opening Preview
- Guests attending the D23 experience will be in the presence of honored guests for a special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
- Joining the celebration are:
- Bill Farmer, Disney Legend and the voice of Goofy & Pluto
- Bret Iwan, the official voice of Mickey Mouse
- The Walt Disney Archives team, with a presentation by Becky Cline, Director of the Walt Disney Archives.
- The exclusive event also includes a buffet luncheon and screening of Adventure Thru the Walt Disney Archives.
- Members will also receive a special parting gift to commemorate the occasion.
Good to Know:
- The event will begin at 9:30 am at the Graceland Exhibition Center and will last until approximately 3:30 pm.
- Out of town guests may be interested in staying the night at The Guest House at Graceland. Details on a special D23 room rate will be provided in the confirmation email after ticket purchase.
- D23 Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to three (3) guests. Parking and tours of Graceland Mansion are not included.
- All Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under 3 years of age receive complimentary admission.
- D23 Members attending must bring their photo ID and event tickets.
- Ticketed Members and guests who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event.
- D23 Members must be present for their guests to gain entry to the event.
- All D23 Events are subject to change without notice. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
- Filming, photography, and other recording will take place at The Graceland Exhibition Center in Memphis, Tennessee, during the event.
