ABC News Live to Celebrate Pride Month with Streaming Specials, NYC Pride March and More on June 27th

ABC News Live will celebrate Pride Month this weekend by streaming original programming from ABC Owned Television Stations, the 2021 NYC Pride March and more. The all day event kicks off June 27th at 9am ET.

What’s Happening:

  • As Pride Month comes to a close, ABC News Live has announced it will stream LGBTQ+ programming all day on June 27th.
  • Beginning at 9:00 am EDT, ABC News Live will stream pride specials from ABC Owned Television Stations including:
  • Each celebration will lead into ABC7 New York’s “2021 NYC Pride March” which debuts at 12:00 pm EDT.
  • The Pride March will feature guests and LGBTQ+ members and allies:
    • Grand Marshals Wilson Cruz
    • Ceyenne Doroshow
    • Menaka Guruswamy and Arundhati Katju
    • Dr. Demetre Daskalakis
    • Aaron Philip
  • Following the Pride March ABC News Live will air specials:
    • Pride on ABC News Live: Understanding the Trans Community streaming at 3:00 pm EDT
    • Pride on ABC News Live: What’s Next for the LGBTQ+ Community and Movement, streaming at 4:00 pm EDT
    • ABC13/KTRK-TV Houston’s Localish Houston: Pride special at 5:00 pm EDT.
  • Coverage culminates with a presentation of the ABC Owned Television Stations’ documentary Our America: Who I’m Meant to Be, a docuseries dedicated to amplifying the voices of transgender communities across America through first-person narratives.
