Universal Studios Florida Prepares for Halloween Horror Nights 30 with Props, Merchandise and More

We are just over three weeks away from the start of Halloween Horror Nights 30 at Universal Studios Florida in Universal Orlando Resort. We took a stroll around the park today to see some of the new additions as preparations for the haunting event are well underway.

  • In the Production Central area of the park, a scarezone dedicated to the past icons of the event has begun to take shape.
  • Two large graphics featuring an array of these icons can be found on either side of the street, as well as props for those icons to interact with.
  • The icons featured in the images include:
    • Jack the Clown
    • The Director
    • The Caretaker
    • Fear
    • Lady Luck
    • Eddie Schmidt
    • The Storyteller
    • The Usher
    • Chance

  • Over in the New York area of the park, another scarezone is coming together. We don’t know any of the details about this scarezone just yet, as none of the zones have been announced.

  • The same is unfolding in the San Francisco area of the park, only here we got a brief glimpse at a recognizable logo that has since been covered up.
  • The logo, which cannot be seen in these pictures belongs to Crypt TV, a YouTube channel dedicated to horror.

  • No props have appeared in the Hollywood section of the park as of yet, despite that area also typically playing host to a scarezone.
  • However, in the Cyber Image gift shop, guests will find some new event preview merchandise as well as an interesting new opportunity.

  • Guests can now purchase a portrait of themselves to be displayed in the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store.
  • Guests have the option to purchase either a 11×14 portrait for $190 or a 16×20 portrait for $225.
  • The portrait will be displayed in the Tribute Store for the duration of the event before being shipped, in a frame, to the guest after the event concludes.
  • In addition to the new photo opportunity, all kinds of spooky new merchandise can be found as well.

  • A new T-shirt, featuring Jack and some of the other icons is available for $35.

  • You can complete your horrifyingly iconic outfit with these icon socks for $20.

  • A new icon glass is also available for $12.

  • The first Halloween Horror Nights treat is also available here as brave guests can try the Director’s “Blook-Soaked” Popcorn.

Halloween Horror Nights begins September 3rd at Universal Studios Florida and runs through Halloween. Tickets are available here.
