- ABC News President Kim Godwin announced that for the third consecutive year ABC News has won overall excellence in Television. An honor that has been received six out of the last eight years – a really incredible feat.
- ABC Audio is also the recipient of the Overall Excellence in Radio Award for the first time in six years. This year, the news division received more combined television and radio awards than any other network.
