“Marvel’s Midnight Suns” Announced, Trailer Released

Gamescom is happening right now with Opening Night Live being broadcasted around the world, and one of the world premiere reveals was for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a new game coming to consoles and PC in March 2022.

What’s Happening:

  • Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been revealed, a new tactical role playing game (RPG) set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, as you team up and battle among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense as you try to defeat Lilith before the Darkhold is complete.

  • Although the reveal trailer just shows cinematics, a gameplay reveal is planned on September 1 at 11:30 am PT.
  • Polygon shared some more details about the game after the reveal, stating that the player will take the role of “The Hunter,” a new character designed in partnership with Marvel Comics. The character will be customizable in appearance and combat abilities with over 40 superpowers available.
  • Players will take part in turn-based missions with three other heroes as they level up over time. Between missions, players can explore a new headquarters area called The Abbey, where you can build relationships with other heroes.
  • The game is planned for release in March 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the Epic Games Store and Steam.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is scheduled to release in March of 2022.
