Jeremiah is over at EPCOT today, getting a sneak peek at what Guests will experience when Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens October 1, 2021.
What’s Happening:
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is the latest attraction opening on October 1, 2021, over at the France pavilion at EPCOT, taking Guests on an adventure in the world of Disney and Pixar’s Ratatouille.

Entrance and Queue
- Starting at the attraction’s entrance, Guests will see that it features a classic marquee with hand-laid golf lead and nearly 200 lights, welcoming everyone into what looks like a Parisian theater.
- Located outside the theater, Guests can spot Chef Skinner’s scooter and Chef Colette’s motorbike from the film.
The wallpaper as you enter has some great details you can spot if you look closely.
- Once inside the theater, Guests will find themselves on the rooftops of Paris, as Gusteau invites them to join Remy for a special meal.
- Guests will enter a French artist’s loft created just for the EPCOT attraction, modeled after the art studio that was briefly seen in the film. As you pass through the room, you’ll see paintings, art supplies, and two magical canvases that come to life showing the ride load video.
- You’ll then board rat-shaped vehicles and put on 3D glasses to begin the adventure.
Attraction Experience
- The new family-friendly attraction will have Guests race through Gusteau’s restaurant as they shrink to the size of a rat, joining Remy in creating a culinary masterpiece.
- The attraction uses trackless vehicles as Guests travel in groups of three, moving forward, backward, spinning, tilting, and bouncing along from scene to scene.
- Depending on which vehicle you board, you may have a slightly different path through the attraction and notice new details as you experience the ride multiple times.
- Characters on the attraction will speak in a blend of English and French to add to the immersion in the France pavilion.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will have its grand opening on October 1, 2021 as part of the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” at Walt Disney World.
