Walt Disney Records is set to release the latest in their Legacy Collection of classic Disney film soundtracks, this time celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
What’s Happening:
- Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection: The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a 2-disc set celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the film. It includes nearly 40 tracks and features additional remastered score by Alan Menken and never before released demo recordings.
- Like its predecessors, The Legacy Collection: The Hunchback of Notre Dame comes in a 2CD set featuring the full contents of the original soundtrack from 25 years ago, plus the entirety of Alan Menken’s orchestral score, a selection of demos by Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz, an outtake from the final film, and even a pair of translated numbers for a critically-acclaimed German-language stage version of the story.
- Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection is an exclusive line of musical releases that celebrate milestone anniversaries of Disney’s most cherished properties featuring beloved original soundtracks, plus valuable content that tells the story behind the music. Each release is beautifully illustrated by Lorelay Bove, a visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios. This is the first release in the collection since collections based on Robin Hood and Beauty and the Beast were released in 2017 and 2018.
