Disney Parks Blog has shared a look at Halloween-themed offerings located at the Disneyland Resort hotels including special décor, themed-treats, and trick-or-treating.



What’s Happening:

  • The Disneyland Resort hotels have gotten into the Halloween spirit with various offerings at each, including special décor and more.
  • At all the hotels on October 31, overnight Guests can enjoy exclusive, complimentary trick-or-treating. Each hotel will have a treat map with locations, allowing everyone to visit all three hotels. Guests can sign up at the Front Desk upon check-in for trick-or-treating.
  • Guests can save up to 25% off select stays at the Disneyland Resort Hotels most Sunday through Thursday nights from October 12 through December 16, you can book now through December 9.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa:

  • Guests can check out Oogie Boogie and his cauldron made by the pastry shop near the center of the hotel lobby.
  • The pastry shop shared what goes into creating this confectionary masterpiece:
    • 260 pounds of powdered sugar
    • 380 eggs
    • 220 pounds of rice cereal
    • 95 pounds of marshmallow
    • 80 pounds of butter
    • 120 pounds of dark chocolate
    • 80 pounds of white chocolate
    • 480 pounds of fondant
    • 370 hours of planning and hands-on work
    • 13 hidden Mickeys


  • Guests can also find Halloween treats at the bakery cart in the lobby, featuring Mickey-shaped monster cookies, Jack Skellington cookies, Oogie Boogie cupcakes, skull-faced cookies, Mickey whoopie pies and chocolate chip cookie shot glasses with milk.


Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel:

  • Guests can check out Ursula at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, where her tentacles have taken over the lobby as she looks over Guests by the elevator.


Disneyland Hotel:

  • The Haunted Mansion stretching room art can be found in the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel, greeting Guests as they come in.
