Walt Disney World Guests who use the Disney MagicMobile service to keep track of their passes can now select from 10 different designs celebrating the 50th anniversary and the World’s Most Magical Celebration.
What’s Happening:
- New digital pass options have been added to the options that Disney MagicMobile users can choose from to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and the World’s Most Magical Celebration.
- 10 different options debuted, each showing off a different statue in the Disney Fab 50 collection that have been installed around the four theme parks of Walt Disney World alongside the 50th celebration logo.
- The characters featured are:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- R2-D2
- Bo Peep
- Figment
- Nemo and Dory
- Frozone
- Simba
- Miguel
- Olaf
- With Disney MagicMobile, guests can link their park ticket to their mobile device or select smart watches and can enter the park using their Wallet app without the use of a plastic card or MagicBand.
- Users can find the selections on the My Disney Experience App menu, under the Disney MagicMobile button. Users can then choose from the options that debuted with the service, which include art themed to the parks, park food items, and specialty options for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members. Multiple passes can be added to a single device, which is especially helpful for families.
- When entering the park, the digital card will usually animate in some way. At this time, we don’t know what special little tricks the new 50th designs might perform.
