Today, the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World debuted a new Welcome Show as well as opening procedure. Previously, guests were held at the Main Street Train Station until the previous Welcome Show was over and the park was officially open.
Now guests are invited onto Main Street one hour prior to the park’s official opening time. Guests are invited to enjoy the shopping on Main Street as well as the Main Street Bakery (Starbucks) and Casey’s Corner’s breakfast menu. I am looking forward to trying the Hash Brown Dog.
About 5 minutes before the park is scheduled to open, the new Welcome Show begins on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage. After the show, the Magic Kingdom is open for business.
