Golly! Mickey Mouse fans in Southern California better get their Instagram accounts ready and their selfie fingers primed, because the all-new Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration installation is ready to open at Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District this Friday.

Housed in the building formerly occupied by ESPN Zone in the popular outdoor shopping mall outside the Happiest Place On Earth, Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration is made up of seven colorful sections representing Mickey Mouse’s history, favorite friends, and widespread influence in the world of popular culture over the past 90 years, all with multiple photo-friendly locations, memorable moments, and eye-catching exhibits.

At Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration, you can walk through areas with themes like Mickey and Minnie’s Love, It All Started With A Mouse, Mickey’s Friendships, Sorcerer Mickey’s Magic, Mickey Around the World, Forever Mickey, and Mickey at Disneyland, posing for unforgettable pictures with your group or by yourself, and simply marvel at the creativity that went into crafting these artful and attractive tributes to everyone’s favorite mouse.

This April, fans of all ages are invited to a limited-time experience paying tribute to the mouse of the hour. Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration transports Guests through a series of whimsically immersive, family-friendly galleries honoring the one and only Mickey Mouse!

Each imaginatively themed room is bursting with vibrant visual displays inspired by the most important character in Disney’s rich history. Fueling a thoroughly modern trend on art installations, these vivid, eye-grabbing designs (like a super-sized Minnie bow sofa!) double as settings for fabulous family photo ops, super-sweet portraits and selfie-worthy moments attendees will never forget.
