Gear Up for runDisney’s Virtual Series With Heroic Marvel Attire

This year is the 80th anniversary of Marvel Comics and one of the ways fans can join in the celebration is by participating in the runDisney Virtual Series. With Marvel as the theme of 2019 series, fans can collect awesome hero medals by completing three virtual 5Ks.

Have you signed up yet? We have and we’re so excited! We opted for the Challenge and will run one 5K (3.1 miles) each month between June and August. While the individual races are all sold out, fortunately the Virtual Series Challenge is still open, which means fans who sign up and complete the challenge will receive 4 medals!

Okay, so now that you’ve signed up, you’ve got to dress for success! Each race is themed to a Marvel hero:

  • June – Captain Marvel
  • July – Iron Man
  • August – Black Panther

Below are some fun items we love that represent these heroes and will make your races all the more exciting.

Pro Tip

Races can be expensive, and one of the great things about this virtual 5K series is that families can share the medals. My husband and I will both participate in the Virtual Series, but only one of us signed up. We’ll print two sets of bibs here at home, and share the medals.

Challenge registration is open now through June 29, 2019 so don’t miss out. Good luck on your races. We love you 3000!
