WDW 50 – Mickey Mouse and Friends Get an EARidescent Makeover for the Most Magical Celebration

The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World is getting closer and closer and we continue to count down to the World’s Most Magical Celebration. Today, we’re taking a look at the fun new EARidescent costumes Mickey Mouse and friends will sport for that celebration.

Mickey isn’t one to go into a big celebration without donning an exciting new outfit. And with this being the World’s Most Magical Celebration, you know he had to pull out all the stops not just for himself, but for all of his friends as well. Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Chip and Dale will all be sporting some exciting new EARidescent costumes for this 50th anniversary celebration.

The special new outfits feature more than just a sparkly look though. They also include beautifully embroidered impressions of Cinderella Castle backed by fireworks as well as a brocade in multi-toned, EARidescent fabric – all punctuated with pops of gold.

Mickey and Minnie will be the hosts of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, joined by Walt Disney World cast members at the heart of this event. Wearing new EARidescent nametags designed for the 50th anniversary, cast will demonstrate yet again why they are renowned for their commitment to service, consistently exceeding guests’ expectations by going above and beyond to make visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth special.

“The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” starts on October 1, 2021 at the Walt Disney World Resort and will continue to be celebrated for 18 months.
