BB-8 Inspires a Funk Jam (Complete with Some Droid Sampling)

At this point, it’s no secret that everyone and their mothers (presumably literally) love BB-8. Apparently you can count late night talk show band leader Reggie Watts among the droid’s fanbase as he recently performed a song dedicated to BB on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

If you’re unfamiliar with Watts, he’s a comedian and musician who includes a lot of beatboxing and sampling in his work along with a vocal range that goes between Barry White depth all the way to falsetto highs. You’ll see the same techniques applied here along with some BB-8 sound effects thrown in for good measure:
