These Gorgeous Princess Portraits are Worthy of Your Wall

It’s one thing to dress up in incredibly detailed cosplay but combining that with amazing photography creates something truly special. That’s exactly what photographer Mike Saffels of Saffels Photography does and he does it beautifully.

On his Store Envy page, you can purchase prints of some gorgeous portraits featuring a few classic Disney princesses among some other familiar faces. Here are a few of our favorites:

Rapunzel

First, the costume is spot-on and, second, that wig (or wigs, perhaps?) really sells the look and illusion.

 Mermaid Ariel

Titled “Poor Unfortunate Soul,” this one probably contains the most special effects of any of the ones in his portfolio but it all works perfectly in telling a story.

Princess Ariel

On dry land, Ariel’s hair gets very red, but this is a beautiful portrait nonetheless.

Anna and Elsa

Some of the other shots in this collection highlight the girls’ “chilly” (sorry) relationship in the opening acts of the film, but this one is just adorable.

Snow White

While the photo’s premise may be simple, the costume is impressively elaborate and makes quite an impression.

“Once Upon a Dream”

If you prefer your Disney with a side of classic horror, this clever and stunning shot is for you.

Spider-Gwen

Not only does this photo depict a rising star in the superhero community but also shows off a completely different style for the photographer that proves equally as impressive.

So which one of these portraits is your favorite? Be sure to check out more great shots from Saffels Photography and maybe even pick up some prints to hang in your home.
