Last night the Anaheim Ducks played the New York Islanders and, while they didn’t win, the night wasn’t all sad. Several cast members from Disney’s Mighty Ducks films made special appearance at the game.

  • The cast of the original Mighty Ducks film joined in the fun during an Anaheim Ducks and New York Islanders game on Sunday night.

  • This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Anaheim Ducks hockey team and the 27th anniversary of the original Disney film.
  • In honor of this milestone, the city of Anaheim is hosting events February 10-17 for “Duck Week.” Even Disney California Adventure is joining the celebration with special activities at the park on February 11.

  • Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s been five years since the cast of D2 got together for the 20th anniversary celebration of that film. Actress Marguerite Moreau, shared Instagram pics of the team all grown up.
