Popular WDW Venue, Jellyrolls Orlando, Set to Relocate…Somewhere

The popular venue only announced a relocation, but provided no further details.

Put your requests in now and attach a bigger bill than normal, as the popular location, Jellyrolls, on Disney’s Boardwalk at Walt Disney World is set to move to a new location, and it is unclear if it will be at Walt Disney World or not.

What’s Happening:

  • Jellyrolls, the fan-favorite nighttime entertainment location located on Disney’s Boardwalk at Walt Disney World, is set to relocate according to a new social media post shared by the location.
  • This dueling piano bar has amassed a number of devoted fans, many of whom are Orlando locals who come again and again to see their favorite musicians.
  • Special Cast Member nights also see an abundance of tunes from Disney films and even park attractions played by the venue's talented pianists, and have become favorites on social media as well.
  • The official post regarding the move reads: “After nearly thirty years on Disney’s Boardwalk, Jellyrolls is making a move! Come celebrate with us into the spring season and keep your eyes on our social media for exciting new updates!”

  • Based on the post, this is not a closure, but a relocation. Where the location is moving remains to be seen, and it is unclear if the location will remain on Disney’s Boardwalk or even on Walt Disney World property. This idea is not unheard of – in California, the popular House of Blues at Downtown Disney relocated to nearby (and non-Disney) GardenWalk, a short distance away and still open and popular today.

  • Also missing from the official post is when the last day of operation in its current location on Disney’s Boardwalk will be.
  • There have also been no official announcements regarding what will come to the newly available space on Disney’s Boardwalk, which neighbors the Atlantic Dance nightclub location, which is still open albeit sporadically, as it can be booked for weddings and private events – something that occurs frequently.
  • Jellyrolls is one of the few remaining fixtures of Disney’s Boardwalk’s opening day. Over the years there have been many changes, including the recent high profile closures of the ESPN Club to make way for The Cake Bake Shop, as well as the closure of the Big River Grille and Brewing Works.
