Disney Sports has announced the Disney Princess Cup Soccer Tournament to be held at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports October 12-14, 2014. Here is some more information from Disney:
This girls youth soccer tournament will celebrate the qualities of your girl soccer players, athletes who are princesses at heart – confident, determined, brave and compassionate. This event will also be unlike any other Disney Soccer event. In addition to the competition, it will start with a kick-off concert featuring a Disney Records artist, and it will include an all-star celebrity speaker panel that will empower your athletes with tools they need to be strong and successful both in soccer and in life.
The tournament format will be 6v6 for girls ages U9 – U14, with competition over three days. For players that would like to participate but do not have a team to travel with, there is also a Guest Player opportunity. Learn all of the details and get ready for registration, which opens Tuesday, April 1 at Noon EDT.
