Disney has announced that the concerts for the 2016 edition of Night of Joy will be moving to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Guests attending the event will be able to access the Magic Kingdom in addition to the concerts at the venue.
It is unclear if the Magic Kingdom will have a hard close and only be available to event guests or if they will mix-in with day guests.
Night of Joy is a contemporary Christian music festival that has been held annually since 1983. While the event has traditionally been held at the Magic Kingdom, it was moved to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for two years in 2008 and 2009.
The move of the concert to the Sports Complex is advertised as allowing additional guests while offering rain-proof venues.
Both nights of the 2015 Night of Joy festival were sold out.
