The El Capitan Theatre is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of The Mighty Ducks for one night, Thursday, October 19, 2017, with a special Throwback Thursday screening of the film.
“Our Throwback Thursdays are becoming a great tradition for our El Capitan Theatre Guests. We are happy to announce that we will be celebrating the 25thAnniversary of The Mighty Ducks,” said Ed Collins, General Manager of The El Capitan Theatre, “The evening will be filled with a lot of fun elements including appearances by original cast members Aaron Schwartz and Matt Doherty. We will also be partnering with the Anaheim Ducks to make it a true fan event starting off with a pep rally before the movie!”
“The Anaheim Ducks are excited to be part of Disney’s celebration of the 25th Anniversary of The Mighty Ducks,” said Aaron Teats, VP and CMO of the Anaheim Ducks. “The movie holds a special place in the hearts of our fans and helped lay the foundation for the Anaheim Ducks franchise. The evening will make for a great celebration of this iconic hockey movie and the inception of our hockey club.” In addition to giveaways, there will also be an appearance by the Anaheim Ducks mascot Wild Wing, along with other surprises!
Tickets are $10, which include a Reserved Seat, 39 oz Popcorn Box, 12 oz twist top beverage bottle of choice and a surprise giveaway from the Anaheim Ducks.
