It’s almost time for the grand opening of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. Fans have anxiously been awaiting to set foot in the re-themed area that features all things Pixar. While the official opening will be on June 23rd, Disney is offering a limited number of tickets to a special VIP sneak preview on June 22nd.
What’s happening:
- Disney Parks Blog announced this afternoon that a limited number of tickets will be available for a sneak preview of Pixar Pier on Friday, June 22nd.
- The cost for the event is $299 per person and tickets are now on sale.
Event highlights:
- Guests attending the event will have exclusive entry to Pixar Pier one day before it opens to the general public.
- Be among the first to ride the newly themed rides including the Incredicoaster, and Pixar Pal-A-round, plus everyone’s favorite, Toy Story Mania.
- Sample delicious delicacies around the Pier. Guests may choose one item to sample from each of the following locations:
- Poultry Palace
- Angry Dogs
- Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums
- Senor Buzz Churros
- Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
- Sing, pose and shop! Special Pixar themed entertainment and character appearances will keep you smiling along with exclusive photo locations and early access to Pixar Pier merchandise.
- Guests will also receive unlimited downloads of Disney Photo Pass pictures taken during the event.
- The VIP event begins at 3 pm on Friday, June 22nd. Guests in attendance will also have access to Disney California Adventure.
- Parking is complimentary for the Pixar Pier Preview.
Pixar Pier is divided into four special neighborhoods: The Incredibles, Toy Story, Inside Out, and a fourth neighborhood celebrating the stories and characters of beloved Pixar films.
