Legends of the Force: A Celebration of Star Wars Coming to Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has announced the first details for the newly-renamed Legends of the Force: A Celebration of Star Wars coming to the parks next year.

  • Legends of the Force: A Celebration of Star Wars — formerly known as Seasons of the Force — will take place January 2019 through March 2019.
  • This epic celebration will take place through both Parc Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios.
  • New for this edition of the event will be a Chewbacca meet and greet.
  • Additionally, two beloved characters will be joining the cast of the show A Galaxy Far, Far Away: Boba Fett and BB-8
  • It’s worth noting that the Disneyland’s Space Mountain is also currently running a Hyperspace Mountain overlay.
  • More details about the upcoming Legends of the Force: A Celebration of Star Wars are expected to be announced soon.

ICYMI — Disneyland Paris

  • While we’re discussing major Disney property celebrations, the resort is currently hosting their Marvel Summer of Super Heroes. The festivities are set to continue through September 30th.
  • Also happening this September, Walt Disney Studios Park will host the first ever Disney Loves Jazz, Soiree of Jazz event. This hard ticket event will be held September 29th from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m.
  • Looking ahead, the resort has teased the return of a Walt Disney Studios Park classic: CinéMagique. No further details were offered at this time, but fans will surely be delighted to see this show once again.
  • Speaking of attractions guests are dying to see return, Disneyland Paris’ Phantom Manor (their Haunted Mansion equivalent) announced the extension of its refurbishment earlier this year, with the famed ride expected to reopen early next year. When it does finally debut, the voice of Vincent Price will be restored to the attraction in some way along with some changes.
  • Finally, if you missed the fun of last year’s Festival of Pirates and Princesses, you’ll be happy to know the resort has confirmed that the event will return next year. In the meantime, you can practice your choreography and prepare to choose a side.
