Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” Coming to The El Capitan Theatre

Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre will present a special engagement of Disney’s upcoming holiday feature The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

  • The engagement will be held from November 2 through November 18 and the film will be shown in Dolby Vision Laser Projection & Dolby Atmos Sound Technology.
  • Guests will be able to take photos with a life-sized music box while the El Capitan’s Music Maestro plays music themed to each of the four realms.
  • A special opening night event on Thursday November 1 will feature a performance of The Nutcracker by Los Angeles Ballet, headed by its artistic directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, on the El Capitan Theatre stage.
  • Then on Friday, November 2, the 7:30 screening of the new film will be accompanied by a performance of Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker by the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
  • Subsequent screenings of the film will feature interpretations of The Nutcracker from 18 different dance companies from all around souther California.
