As previously announced, Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is gearing up for reopening. Now, the Disney Parks Blog has revealed that, when it does, a new feature named The Animation Experience at Conservation Station will teach guests to draw some of Disney’s most famous animal characters.

  • The Animation Experience at Conservation Station will debut when Rafiki's Planet Watch reopens to guests on July 11th.
  • This new experience will share how live animals have inspired many of Walt Disney Animation’s most iconic characters.
  • Characters from The Lion King will be featured in the experience as guests will be able to learn to draw Simba, Zazu, Pumbaa, Timon, and others
  • Disney Fastpass+ will be offered for The Animation Experience at Conservation Station with reservations opening later today (June 10th).
