A classic parade is returning to the Disneyland Resort once again. The Disney Parks Blog has announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade will have a special limited-time engagement later this summer.
- The Main Street Electrical Parade will perform at Disneyland starting August 2nd and run through September 30th.
- Fans last saw the iconic parade in 2017.
- You may recall that Disney hyped up that run with a clever ad that featured dozens of Easter eggs.
- Of course, the MSEP isn’t the only special resurrection the Disneyland Resort has made this summer — Disney California Adventure recently extended its limited run of Soarin’ Over California until August 31st.
Fun Facts:
- Way back in 1972, The original Main Street Electrical Parade was staged by soon-to-be Disney Legend, Barnette Ricci.
- The parade has made its way across Main Street in both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The last time Magic Kingdom guests enjoyed the parade was in October 2016.
