Impressions de France to Close This Week for Refurbishment, New Additions

We know there are a lot of changes coming to Epcot and many of them are already underway, but it looks like one more will be starting this week. On Wednesday, October 2, the Palais du Cinéma, home to Impressions de France, will be closing for work to begin on some new additions.

  • As previously announced, a new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will join Impressions de France in the Palais du Cinéma in January 2020.
  • Another new addition will be an upgraded digital projection system, enhancing the visual experience.
  • The gallery in the pre-show area of the theater will also be receiving a new exhibit during this refurbishment.
  • Unfortunately, the Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure offering in the pre-show area will be unavailable during this refurbishment, but the other activations throughout the park will still be available to guests.
  • Impressions de France and the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along will reopen in January 2020.
  • In addition to the closure at Epcot, the Winter course at Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf  will be closed from Monday, October 14 through Sunday, October 20 for maintenance.
  • The Summer course will still be open during this time.
