New Universal Studios Store Opens in CityWalk at Universal Orlando

Just a few days ago, we noticed that the new signage for the new Universal Studios Store had been revealed, and now, the store is now open to guests of Universal Orlando’s CityWalk.

The interior of the store is new clean environment, similar to the Universal Studios Store found at Universal CityWalk and in the park at Universal Studios Hollywood. The usual park fare can be found at this location, including an abundance of Harry Potter merchandise, including wands from Ollivander’s inside both Wizarding Worlds, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

New pieces hanging from the roof serve as screens where footage of park attractions, iconography, and landmarks, such as the trademark Universal Globe, is projected onto the curvature for guests waiting in line to checkout at the cashier stand to enjoy.

Aside from Harry Potter merchandise, more of the franchises represented in the park currently, as well as their attractions can be found in this location, as well as merchandise and apparel featuring the current Universal Studios logo. Candy and Sweets are also available, and a small section of the store appears to be dedicated to selling holiday merchandise year-round.

This is a new merchandise location that has taken over the former location of Fossil, PIQ, and the back half of the Quiet Flight store, eliminating a pedestrian shortcut popular with annual passholders and team members alike. The former location of the Universal Studios Store now serves as the Universal Legacy Store, and features merchandise and apparel from classic Universal Films and Franchises, like Jaws and Back to the Future, as well as celebrating the over 30 years of history of the Universal Orlando Resort with props and memorabilia from the parks, as well as throwback merchandise featuring old logos and fan-favorite attractions that are no longer around.
