Disney Cruise Line Sends Update on Final Payment Extensions Through October 31, 2021

Disney Cruise Line sent out a new update to the final payment extension for sailings through October 31, 2021. They have also relaxed the cruise cancellation fee and extended the cruise date flexibility option.

What’s Happening:

Disney Cruise Line updated the final payment extension for sailings through October 31, 2021, giving Guests additional time while also relaxing the cancellation fee through October 31, 2021.
With the final payment extension, Guests now have up to 60 days prior to sailing if booked in unrestricted stateroom categories to fully pay for their vacation.
Disney Cruise Line has also extended the temporary Cruise Date Flexibility option, allowing Guests to change their sail day up to 15 days prior to their cruise. This will apply for any new or existing cruises booked by May 31, 2021, for sailings on or before October 31, 2021.
The previous extensions were through September 30, 2021, as reported in March.

Relaxed cruise cancellation fees for sailings through October 31, 2021, are described below:

Cruises 1 to 5 Nights (Excluding Suites and Concierge Staterooms)

60 days or more – No fee
59 – 45 days – Deposit per Guest
44 – 30 days – 50% of vacation price per Guest
29 – 15 days – 75% of vacation price per Guest
14 days or less – 100% of vacation price per Guest

Cruises 6 Nights or More (Excluding Suites and Concierge Staterooms)

Days Prior to Vacation Commencement Date

60 days or more – No fee
59 – 56 days – Deposit per Guest
55 – 30 days – 50% of vacation price per Guest
29 – 15 days – 75% of vacation price per Guest
14 days or less – 100% of vacation price per Guest
