The Disneyland Resort has released a statement regarding their face mask policy following news that Walt Disney World will no longer require Guests to wear face masks outdoors.

- Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort will still be required to wear face masks until further notice.
- The Anaheim themed destination made an announcement following news from Walt Disney World, where Guests will be allowed to not wear face masks in outdoor areas starting May 15th.
- Disneyland says they will continue to evaluate their policies in conjunction with state and local guidance.
- California Governor Gavin Newsom has gone back-and-forth on a timeline for when state mask mandates could be lifted and said earlier today that he expects masks to be required in some situations even after the state lifts some restrictions in June.
- Disneyland’s future policies on face masks will likely be similar to Walt Disney World’s, where masks are still required indoors, on Disney transportation, and throughout the entire attraction experience, from entering the queue to exiting.

“Disneyland Resort’s current guidelines, which require all guests (ages 2 and older) and Cast Members to wear face coverings, remain in effect until further notice. Policies will be evaluated in accordance with state and local recommendations as soon as guidance is released.”
