As the Walt Disney Company’s Ultimate Princess Celebration kicks off, Grammy winning singer, songwriter, and actress Brandy made an appearance at Disneyland to celebrate and share the new original song for the fun, “Starting Now.”
What’s Happening:
- Grammy Award winning recording artist and global superstar Brandy spent some time at Disneyland Park earlier this week, kicking off the Ultimate Princess Celebration!
- From the steps of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Brandy shared that it’s a dream to be a part of the celebration and that the anthem is meant to encourage people to be kind and loving toward one another.
- To kick off the celebration, Brandy, who starred as the beloved princess in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, has recorded a new original song called “Starting Now.” If you listen closely, you’ll hear lyrics inspired by some favorite Disney Princess songs.
- The “Starting Now” single, produced by Grammy Award nominee Oak Felder and written by Jason Mater, Jordan Powers, and Darren Criss, was released by Walt Disney Records on May 21. Fans can also listen to their favorite Disney Princess songs now on a curated playlist from Walt Disney Records, and you can also stream “Starting Now” on most streaming services.
