Shanghai Disney Resort Announces "Mickey's Storybook Adventure" Debuting This June

Shanghai Disney Resort has announced a new in-park live theater show — Mickey’s Storybook Adventure.

What’s Happening:

Shanghai Disney Resort will be getting a new show at the Walt Disney Grand Theatre starting on June 16 — Mickey’s Storybook Adventure.
The 28-minute show will open on the 5th anniversary of the resort’s grand opening, featuring one of the largest number of on-stage performers in any indoor entertainment show at Shanghai Disneyland and using new technologies.
The show will immerse Guests in Disney stories and characters with music, live performances, animation, and scenery.

More on the Show:

Mickey’s Storybook Adventure will feature 23 live vocalists, characters, dancers, and musicians.
23 Disney characters from 13 stories will be brought to life on stage, featuring a magical library where a giant storybook of Disney adventures is kept.
The story focuses on Mickey Mouse and Goofy, who face a conundrum when Mickey accidentally dislodges Olaf from within the storybook.
The three are then set on an adventure to return Olaf to his section of the book as characters from other films including Moana, Mulan, Tangled, Zootopia, and more come to life.
