Basketball fans can watch their favorite professional and college alumnus battle it out for the ultimate prize during The Basketball Tournament. ESPN will televise the four-day event from Dayton, Ohio which also includes a 33-Point Contest.
What’s Happening:
- ESPN networks will televise The Basketball Tournament (TBT) Championship Week, July 31st–August 3rd, live from University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio.
- The single-elimination tournament will crown the winner-take-all one million dollar champion Tuesday, August 3rd in primetime at 9 pm ET on ESPN.
- Two teams from each Regional advanced to Championship Week which begins Saturday, July 31st with the quarterfinals at noon and 2 pm on ESPN, and 7 pm and 9 pm on ESPN2.
- The semifinals are set for Sunday, August 1st at noon and 2:30 pm on ESPN, followed by the title game on Tuesday.
33-Point Contest:
- TBT will also debut its 33-Point Contest featuring contestants squaring off in a single-elimination bracket format.
- The goal is to see who can hit 11 three-pointers first, totaling 33 points.
- The event will air on ESPN between the semifinal games on Sunday, August 1st, at 2 pm

- ESPN college basketball analysts Jordan Cornette, and Seth Greenberg headline the commentator teams for Championship Week.
- Eric Collins and Bob Rathbun will call play-by-play
- Jen Hale and Angel Gray will serve as the sideline reporters in Dayton.
