Following the announcement of Lynne Hale retiring at the end of 2021, Lucasfilm has found its new VP of publicity and communications with Chris Coxall.

- The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Chris Coxall will be the next vice president of publicity and communications for Lucasfilm.
- The news comes after the announcement of Lynne Hale retiring at the end of the year after 35 years at Lucasfilm.
- Coxall joined Disney in 2013 and has led global campaigns for Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Studios including Jungle Cruise, Luca, and more.
- He has also worked on every Star Wars project since Lucasfilm was acquired.
- In the new role, Coxall will lead publicly for Lucasfilm projects and create strategic communication plans for events like May the 4th and Star Wars Celebration.
