Searchlight Pictures Shares Animated Music Video for “Aline” from “The French Dispatch”

With just a few weeks until the premiere of The French Dispatch, Searchlight Pictures has shared a music video for the song “Aline” as performed by Jarvis Cocker.

What’s Happening:

  • In anticipation of Wes Anderson’s long awaited The French Dispatch finally making its theatrical debut, Searchlight Pictures released an animated music video for the film’s song “Aline.”
  • “Aline” was written and originally performed by musician Christophe in 1966, and now Jarvis Cocker has the honor of performing the song. Cocker provides the singing vocals for the character Tip Top—the subject of the music video.
  • The song will also be included on the original soundtrack for The French Dispatch which is available for Digital and Physical media pre-order on various streaming platforms and  from Abkco Music & Records.

  • The “Aline” music video was written by Daniel Georges and Jacq Bevilacqua and directed by Anderson.
  • The French Dispatch opens in select theatres on October 22nd and nationwide on November 5th.
