Sources have told Deadline who will be playing Adam Warlock in Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and that is actor Will Poulter.
What’s Happening:
- After the character’s appearance was teased in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Marvel has now unveiled that actor Will Poulter will be playing Adam Warlock.
- Adam Warlock’s appearance was first teased in one of the post-credit scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, when Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki, unveils to her chambermaid the perfect Sovereign she has created to help destroy the Guardians once and for all.
- Poulter is best known for his appearances in The Revenant and Detroit, and will next appear in Hulu’s limited series Dopesick.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be directed by James Gunn, and produced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Production is expected to begin this November.
