New Figment Collection is Coming Soon to shopDisney

“One little spark of inspiration is at the heart of all creation….” If reading those worlds makes you hear the ditty from Journey into Imagination, then I’m going to guess you’re a fan of Figment! And guess what? The EPCOT mascot is getting his own apparel collection on shopDisney.

UPDATE (10.19.2022): The Figment Ear Headband and a matching purse have landed on shopDisney. Hopefully this means the shirt is coming soon!

What’s Happening:

2022 is a big year for EPCOT as it reaches its 40th anniversary. And while Figment’s birthday is several months behind (March 1983) the opening of the Park, he’s still just as important.
Not only is the imaginative and curious purple dragon the star of Journey Into Imagination With Figment, and the de facto face of nearly every EPCOT festival, but he’s going to be the star of a new merchandise collection coming to shopDisney.
shopDisney shared a picture of the upcoming collection featuring apparel and an ear headband. From what we can tell this assortment of apparel will feature a lot of purple, yellow and orange, just what you’d expect to see from our little dragon friend.

The pleated skirt (XS-3X) offers vertical striping all around, while the waistband includes an embroidered “Figment” with wings on both sides.

A bright yellow top pairs nicely with the skirt and puts Figment front and center, looking as happy as ever.
Finally, from what the picture reveals, there’s an ear headband with two large spheres decorated like Spaceship Earth and a giant orange bow in the center. One ear is decorated with Figment and the other displays the logo for the Imagination Institute.
The skirt and Ear Headband from the Figment Collection is available now on shopDisney and at Walt Disney World.
