Disney Epic Mickey was a landmark video game when it was first released back in 2010. A decade and a half later the game was still popular among fans, leading to Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, an updated version of the game being released for modern hardware. The game is now bigger than ever, but now it's also getting smaller.
What's Happening:
- THQ Nordic, the publishers behind Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed have announced that the game is set to come to mobile devices.
- Pre-orders for the game are now live on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
- A new trailer for the mobile version was posted to Twitter.
- While the trailer doesn't reveal a release date or a price, the pre-order page on the App store lists an "expected" release date of September 16, 2026, and a price of $15.99.
- Disney Epic Mickey was a major project in Disney history as it was one of the first places we saw Oswald the Lucky Rabbit after Disney acquired the character's rights. It's also the first time that Oswald and Mickey Mouse appeared together.
