Storyliving by Disney Announces Six New Dining and Shopping Experiences for Cotino Bay
The first Storyliving by Disney community continues to get more magical.
Storyliving by Disney has announced six new dining and shopping experiences coming to Cotino Bay Beach, Dining, Shops when the waterfront destination opens in Spring 2027.
What’s Happening:
- Cotino Bay Beach, Dining, Shops is scheduled to open in Spring 2027 in Rancho Mirage, featuring new restaurants, shopping, and ticketed beach access overlooking Cotino Bay.
- The destination, which was originally expected to debut this fall, will also host farmers markets, live music, art displays, seasonal events, and other community gatherings.
- The designed community offers extensive walking paths and golf cart paths for residents to easily access these areas, so let’s take a look at what’s coming to Cotino.
Asada Cantina + Kitchen
- A Mexican restaurant serving lunch and dinner with handcrafted dishes and innovative cocktails.
- Inspired by the restaurant's San Clemente roots and designed as a lively social gathering spot.
Mojave Flea Trading Post
- An experiential marketplace featuring vintage apparel, home goods, handmade ceramics, artwork, apothecary items, and more.
- Highlights artisans, makers, and small businesses from the Coachella Valley, Joshua Tree, and beyond.
SottoSopra
- A new Italian concept from the team behind SottoVoce Cafe.
- Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with pastries, paninis, Italian entrées, and a curated wine selection.
Big Juice
- A health-focused café offering protein smoothies, cold-pressed juices, specialty coffee, and breakfast and lunch items.
- Joins the development after establishing multiple locations across the Coachella Valley.
It Refills
- A refill shop specializing in household and personal care products designed to reduce waste.
- Products include hand soap, body wash, toothpaste, laundry detergent, household cleaners, and more.
La Dolce Piccola Gelateria
- A family-owned gelateria serving homemade gelato, coffee, and artisanal baked goods.
- Features a rotating menu of flavors inspired by Italy and made with fresh ingredients.
- The new tenants join previously announced businesses including Elevare, Artigiano, and On the Mark Fine Foods & Provisions.
- Future phases of the development will add additional dining and retail locations, as well as a hotel, as the first Storyliving by Disney community continues to expand.
