Video: Sith Troopers from “The Rise of Skywalker” Debut in Star Wars Booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2019

Just last week, Lucasfilm revealed the new Sith Trooper armor design set to debut in its highly anticipated upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker this winter, with the intention of revealing it for the public to see in person for the very first time in the Star Wars booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 in Southern California.

Tonight, SDCC ‘19 opened its doors for Preview Night, and indeed, the Lucasfilm booth was populated not only by a display featuring the evolution of Stormtrooper armor over the past four decades of Star Wars movies (as was also promised by the company) but two Sith Troopers available for meet-and-greet photo opportunities with attendees.

Beyond the excitement surrounding the opportunity for fans to see and interact with the Sith Troopers in person, it was also incredibly cool to see the lineup of Stormtrooper armor from across the Star Wars saga. Continuing on display in the booth throughout the coming weekend are costumes from an Imperial Scout Trooper, Imperial Stormtrooper, Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot, Imperial Death Trooper, First Order Sith Trooper, Imperial Shoretrooper, First Order TIE Fighter Pilot, Captain Phasma, and a standard First Order Stormtrooper.

In addition, convention-exclusive Sith Trooper toys are available from Hasbro and LEGO, not to mention a life-size Sith Trooper model built entirely out of LEGO bricks being on display in the popular toy company’s booth positioned caddy-corner to the Star Wars booth.
