Hulu’s highly anticipated revival of Veronica Mars has another original cast member set to return. Enrico Colantoni has reportedly signed on to reprise his role, according to Deadline.
- Colantoni played Keith Mars, Veronica’s father and the head of Mars Investigations, in the original series.
- Colantoni joins fellow returning cast members Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Francis Capra , Percy Daggs III and David Starzyk for the revival.
- Series creator Rob Thomas will also be returning.
- The series will run for eight hour-long episodes on Hulu.
- Reports of the revival first surface back in August and were confirmed in September with an announcement from Bell.

- “Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”

- Disney is currently a 30% owner of Hulu but is expected to increase their share to 60% once the proposed acquisition of 21st Century Fox assets.
- Of course, Kristen Bell is also known as the voice of Anna in Frozen.
