Last week, ABC’s Good Morning America surprised fourth-grade teacher and major Disney fan Patrice Jenkins with a trip around the world to visit each Disney Park in just a week. Today, Jenkins arrived at Walt Disney World with ABC’s Ginger Zee to not only recap their trip but celebrate the one who started it all: Mickey Mouse.

  • Additionally, dozens of Disney characters poured onto the castle stage to dance to the new song “It’s a Good Time.”
  • The tune will be featured in the upcoming street party debuting at Magic Kingdom.
  • Here’s how the celebration looked on GMA:

  • Incidentally, our Chief Central Florida Contributor, Jeremiah, was able to see this performance in person and shared this first-hand video on our Twitter:

  • As for contest winner Patrice Jenkins, Ginger Zee surprised her by announcing that Jenkins and her husband would be setting sail on a Disney Cruise Line adventure this weekend.
  • For more celebrations of Mickey’s 90th birthday, be sure to check out our special #90for90 series here on Laughing Place and stay tuned for more all weekend long.
