Trick or treat? How about a treat! The Disney Parks Blog has shared a sneak peek at the exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom spell card available only at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This year’s card is inspired by the new fireworks show debuting during the party.
What’s happening:
- In just two days, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning to Magic Kingdom Park!
- On top of all the fantastic entertainment, food, and experiences planned for this year, guests can pick up an event-exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game card.
- The “Phantasmal Fireworks’ Flash” card is inspired by this year’s brand-new fireworks show, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” and features Mickey Mouse and friends in front of the castle.
The story behind the card:
- Imagineer Jonathan Ackley on the creation of the card: “Merlin the Magician was so impressed with – and excited – for the new spectacular that he created a spell in its honor!”
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom:
- Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, is an in-park interactive experience open to guests of all ages.
- Guests join Merlin’s quest to stop Disney Villains from taking over Magic Kingdom.
- They’ll search for villain hideouts throughout the park and visit magic portals where they use spell cards to fight back against a villain’s plan.
- Stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., to pick up everything needed to play.
Good to know:
- This special event card will be distributed separately (and in addition to) the regular Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card packs at this location.
- Guests must register to play with their party ticket and event wristband in order to get cards.
2018 event exclusives:
- Last year, guests visiting Magic Kingdom had the chance to pick up the exclusive Orange Bird and Tiki Room Birds cards during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas parties.
