New Mickey Mouse Meet and Greet Coming to Imagination Pavilion at Epcot

The exciting transformation of Epcot has begun, with groundbreaking attractions and other unforgettable experiences debuting in the coming months and years. Among them will be some new places to meet and greet some favorite Disney characters, including a new area to meet Mickey Mouse at the Imagination! pavilion

What’s Happening:

  • As the Disney Parks Blog reports, Mickey will soon be making appearances in a new location at the Imagination! pavilion, as part of the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. Just inside the entrance, you’ll discover Mickey greeting his fans and celebrating his on-screen stardom.
  • Mickey’s imagination has led to a career in the movies for 90 years and counting, featuring roles in dozens of short films such as Get A Horse which you can enjoy as part of the festival.
  • Look for Mickey to arrive at the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival in early 2020
  • More Character meet and greets coming to the Imagination! Pavilion is nothing new, as back in February, Ralph and Vanellope moved to a location inside ImageWorks at the end of the Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment attraction.
  • There is also a character meet and greet that currently features Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, and Pluto (rotating through the day) that is exclusive to Disney Chase cardholders near the exit of the Magic Eye Theater near the Leap Frog Fountains.
  • Earlier this year, at D23 Expo 2019, tons of major announcements were made about the future of Epcot. Previews of coming attractions and experiences can currently be seen at The Epcot Experience at the Odyssey pavilion, including Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and a new nighttime spectacular, HarmoniUS, which will debut after the temporary run of Epcot Forever.
